Used the Macro function of my camera to take these pics..
Manual mode is the best as I have noticed.. Also, the camera flash is the greatest enemy of good photography..

Uttam made a small boat,
from a green 100 rupee note.
But he didnt let it float,
coz then it would bloat.
So these photos I devote,
To the one adorning the note.

(I know its lame..Wrote it in a hurry.. I will write it anew someday when the inspiration will strike me..)

Some more of the ambigrams..

'ViPuL' - My ambigram painted on my room's wall..

'VAIBHAV' - My 2nd favorite ambigram (obviously after 'ViPuL'). I just love the straight line design.. Though less legible .. but who cares??

'shashank' - Not that good due to low thickness.. But ab himmat nahi hai yaar usko mota karne ki..

'rAHul' - Just an arbit ambigram made in Fireworks...
You can read my Ambigram story at the other post:
Fame Game - Ambigrams

Here are some of the ambigrams :

"SamYak" - This cute little baby'ish' adult needs no introduction

The style of 'S' and 'k' has now bcome very popular and has been used in many places
Also there was a problem when it came to joining 'm' and 'Y'.. But were cleverly couneterd..

"PaNKaJ" - My friend, whom I respect the most

This ambigram was pretty easy if you have a lot of experience behind u..
The style of 'N' and 'K' was devised here and was acclaimed to be very successful..

"INSyNC" - The Dance Club of IITB

This is a very nice ambigram if u ask me... I love it because it seems so ORNATE!!
Well I have got very less no. of ambigrams which i can call good lukin or ornate, mostly all of then are just thin crude line forms i.e. I used to just design the style in which the ambigram has to be made and not made it worth being shown to others..

"HArsHit" - My friend's ambigram on my college classroom's table

Now this ambigram made in a 10min time in the boring class of Engineering Drawing..
I made it on a table for the world to see it...

And I got success wen somebody came up to me and said "U r that Vipul na.. Who has made ambigrams on the tables.. You are very good man.."

Aaah... Is that how heaven feels like??

"arjun" - The super Archer of Indian Mythology

A very easy and simple but elegant one ... The styling is something about which I have got compliments from all over...

"ShantanU" - My Super Bright Friend

Now this one had the 'a' and 'n' very easily done..
What the problem was the 'Sh' and 'U'..
Me and Uttam were sitting in a auto and decided to make it now and then...
That is when we came up with this design...
Though it was refined later on but I like the original best...

"anupam" - Siddharth's Friend

Well now here is the masterpiece.. This ambigram has a unique styling where I have made a fragmented 'a', its just too superb..
This styling is something we call a name dependent styling i.e. the combination is chosen acc to the letters which come in continuation..

The story belongs to just another average guy of typical Indian middle class thinking orientation i.e. studies are the most important aim of life which will help one become successful..

Devoting your time and life to mug up the NCERT books and trying everything ranging from politics to emotional blackmail to get more and more marks...

Its strange how the lust for fame and appreciation can drive you to do things beyond the border that divides selfishness and Evil.. To what heights one's self centerness increase when you insanely want to achieve something...
How you can even use your friends to meet your ends...!!

Disgusting to even think bout it huh?? But ya that was what i really was....

But no, I was not concerned about what people think of me at that time...
All i cared bout was my report card, rapport with teachers, and the academic accolades being showered upon me...

But after a long time when one reaches the adolescent stage of self realization, one becomes conscious of how people think about them...
They all want to be liked and loved by everyone..
It was then that I realized that how bad I am or how I was...

Oh my god!! How it plunged me into the icy cold waters of guilt i cant even imagine...
I can still feel the shivers my memories give me...

Whats meant to be written here is my journey through art right??

So ya here it is...
You must have heard bout that bestseller book writer Dan Brown (That guy has got some real talent, hail him!!)..

The journey started with the reading of the book "Angels and Demons"..
It had got some real good ambigrams which caught my imagination..
I was like "Man! Can that be actually done? How can that guy make a word readable from both the sides?"
The art was so good that how can one remain unimpressed??
Not only that but also all that description of Symbology and and mystery through the depiction of all those medieval art forms left me wondering and imagining all that stuff...

Now all that was required was a kick to drive me into that art pursuing path...

Then comes like a pillar or a beacon in my wading waters is my friend Uttam who was then not quite well known for the art forms he pursued... But ya I should say I was impressed..
U know Whenever I find somebody who can do things I m interested in -and that too, near perfection- I tend to get impressed or even influenced..

So here I was admiring his work when I suddenly came across that piece which struck my mind immediately, shook me to my roots and then rang a bell inside my head...

Well it was an AMBIGRAM !! of his name 'Uttam'..

"Uttam" - My inspiration

Now man, I was deep in thought.. It can actually be done.. Dan Brown says that nobody was able to make them, but here it was in front of me.. The knowledge was enlightening.. A beacon, of hope, of inspiration, of possibilities, i mean the fact that it can be done by a normal mortal human, my friend, means that it WAS possible!!!

I have a clear funda "If someone else can do it then why cant I??"

This funda has helped me gain self confidence all these years and it still helps me achieve the things i had thought were reserved for god gifted extra talented abnormal human beings...

Now even I initiated the ambigram making with my own name..

"Vipul" - My Name, My Identity

Once I started it I never looked back from there.. I pursued this particular art form with all the enthusiasm in my veins.. This ambigram fever soon gripped all the people around me and that was the time i started to get the attention i always used to crave for..

You know, my enthusiasm in a particular field depends on the appreciation I get from it...

In simple clear words "I am a fame fed personality i.e. the basic reason for me to do almost anything is to get attention and appreciation"

This blog, all my ambigrams I upload over the net to see, everything is subconsciously a part of my endeavour of fame and name...

The wish to have Recognition in society, to make one's own identity and stand out in the whole crowd of 100 billion has become so strong that its important for people to have some exclusive talent in them which others can associate with them...

Everybody wants to hear their name being said by one and all, to be known, and not lost in the general crowd as just another person...

As my good friend once told me "Confidence is the key to success"..
Have confidence in yourself that you definitely have some potential stored in you.. all you need to is to "Realize your potential and Put it to full use"..

Want to be famous?
So does everybody. What can make you different is your determination to Achieve the heights no matter what comes your way..

So Get out of your comfort zone, Talk through your actions and make the whole world acknowledge your worth and your talent..
